मनसि काचित् महती इच्छा वर्तते। बहुभ्यः दिनेभ्यः एकं कार्यं कर्तुमिच्छा भवति स्म। अद्य नववर्षारम्भे तत् कार्यं कर्तुं प्रयासं करोमि। कार्यं मत्कृते अत्यन्तं दुष्करमेवास्ति। तथापि अहं प्रयत्नं करोमि तद् सम्भावयितुम्। इतः पूर्वमपि बहुधा चिन्तितमासीत् एतत् करोमि परन्तु कथञ्चिदपि भीत्या तत्र न प्रवर्तितम्।
प्रतिदिनम् एकं श्लोकम् अर्थेण सहितं चित्राकारेण निर्मयामीति। परन्तु अहं जानामि यथा शीघ्रम् एषा आकाङ्क्षा मनसि प्रवर्तते तथैव शीघ्रम् अपगमिष्यत्यपि। कमपि कार्यं प्रतिदिनं करणीयं भवति चेत् तत् दुष्करं तु भवत्येव। अतः न जाने शक्नोमि न वा, परन्तु प्रयासं करोमि अवश्यम्। अस्मिन् कार्ये भवतां सर्वेषामपि साहाय्यम् अपेक्षते।
भवताम् आग्रहः प्रचोदनं लभ्यते सफलो भवामि इति मे आशा।

A great desire has been dwelling in my mind. For many days, I have wished to undertake a particular task. Today, at the beginning of the New Year, I am making an effort to carry out that work. This task is extremely difficult for me; nevertheless, I am striving to make it possible. I had thought about doing this many times before, but somehow, out of fear, I did not venture into it.
My intention is to create one shloka every day in a pictorial (graphic) format along with its meaning. However, I know that just as quickly as this aspiration arises in the mind, it can vanish just as fast. If any task must be performed daily, it certainly becomes challenging. Therefore, I do not know whether I will be able to succeed or not, but I will definitely try. I seek the assistance of all of you in this endeavor. I hope that with your encouragement and motivation, I will be successful.
Please feel free to send shlokas of your own choice as well; I will present those too in pictorial form here. Although I am not the author of these shlokas, the question of whether to include my name or not occurred to me several times. Nevertheless, recalling the words 'lobhād-udbāhuriva vāmanaḥ' (like a dwarf reaching up with outstretched arms out of greed), I have included my name; for this, I seek the forgiveness of the readers.
Therefore, I shall endeavor to send a shloka every night. Furthermore, I admit that I occasionally take the help of AI for English translations. I perform this work by utilizing what is available through the internet. Thus, I state at the very outset: I am not the author; I am merely a collector.
