स हेतुः सर्वविद्यानां धर्मस्य च धनस्य च ॥
पानी की एक-एक बूंद गिरने से जिस प्रकार घड़ा भर जाता है; वही निरंतरता विद्या, धर्म और धन की प्राप्ति का मूल कारण है।

यह सुभाषित 'निरंतरता' (Consistency) की शक्ति को समझाता है। जैसे पानी की एक-एक बूंद गिरने से धीरे-धीरे घड़ा भर जाता है, ठीक वैसे ही विद्या (ज्ञान), धर्म और धन का संचय होता है। जीवन का सबक यह है कि हम अक्सर रातों-रात बड़ी सफलता पाने की कोशिश करते हैं, लेकिन वास्तविकता यह है कि हर बड़ी उपलब्धि छोटी-छोटी आदतों का परिणाम होती है। यदि आप रोज़ थोड़ा सा पढ़ते हैं, थोड़ा सा धन बचाते हैं या थोड़ा सा पुण्य करते हैं, तो समय के साथ वह 'घड़ा' भर ही जाएगा। छोटे कदमों को कम न आंकें।

It states that just as a pot is filled by the steady falling of individual drops of water, so too are all forms of knowledge (Vidyā), righteousness (Dharma), and wealth (Dhana) accumulated. The life lesson is: Success is a marathon, not a sprint. We often overestimate what we can do in a day but underestimate what we can achieve in a year of consistent effort. Great expertise or massive wealth is rarely a single "event"; it is the result of "Jala-bindu"—the small, repetitive actions that eventually fill the vessel of your life.
