कर्मसिद्धान्तः (The Infallibility of Cosmic Law)
A common human doubt is: "With billions of people in the world, how does the universe keep track of my specific good or bad deeds? Won't my karma get lost in the crowd?" IKS uses the analogy of the वत्सः (Calf). In a massive herd of a thousand cows (Dhenu-sahasreṣu), a calf never gets confused. It bypasses 999 cows and goes straight to its own mother. Why? Because of a biological and chemical bond. Similarly, the universe does not need a ledger to track your Karma. Your past actions (Pūrvakṛtaṃ Karma) have a specific energetic signature that is irrevocably bonded to you (the Kartā). Karma never misidentifies its owner.
this verse instills a deep sense of psychological accountability. You cannot escape the consequences of your actions by hiding in a crowd, moving to a different country, or taking a new birth. The "calf" of your actions will always find you.
The Modern Lesson: The universe works like a perfect tracking system, with every action you take stamped with your unique mark. You don’t need to stress about your good deeds being overlooked, and you can’t assume your bad deeds are hidden. Your karma is your own making, and sooner or later, just like a calf finding its way back to its mother, the consequences will come back to you.
